Acrylic is a fast drying paint. It can be diluted with water, but becomes water-resistant when dry. To make a professional finish to the children’s work, they are shown how to prepare the paper onto a board using water and gum tape. Once the paper is dry the children can paint and the paper will stay flat. Perfect for picture framing!
Watercolour painting is a fine balance for children in using water with paint. With my guidance, the children learn how to mix the amount of paint with water to achieve different tonal values of colour. |
